 Ben and a wild osprey Ben has been working at the clinic since May 2001. He previously worked in Laidley in mixed animal practice and then moved into a large pet hospital on the south side of Brisbane for a further 2 years. Six months in the U.k. saw the cold get them better of him and he returned to a position at the Ascot Veterinary Surgery. Ben now is the main veterinarian servicing the Wooloowin / Kalinga areas. Ben completed his membership to the Australian College of Veterinary Surgeons in June 2005. His focus was on internal medicine in both dogs and cats. Following this he completed the Accreditation Program for Australian Veterinarians and then Australian Quarantine small animal export accreditation. Ben's focus is in maintaining quality animal care and medical practice at Ascot. He regularly attends continuing education seminars to ensure that his patients receive the most up to date care. He is a member of the Australian Veterinary Association and is the current News -Letter editor and President of the Brisbane Veterinary Practitioners. Ben is also a Chartered Member of the Australian Veterinary Association,this post nominal title reflects extensive continuing education commitments to give the best care to our patients. |
